Nanhua Island(Cornwallis South Reef)

Nanhua Island(Cornwallis South Reef), which lies in the middle of Nansha Islands(the Spratly Islands), to the southwest of Wumie Jiao(Pigeon Reef), and to the east of Yinqing Qunjiao(London Reefs), was invaded by Vietnam in 1988 and occupied by it since then. It is long in pattern, about 9500m in length, 4000m in width, and lies from northwest to southeast.

In 2014, Vietnam built 2 watchtowers on the reef.

In 2016, Vietnam started to reclaim land from the sea, which has reached an area of 0.017km2.
